After 7 months of trying, I finally got approval to have my band removed and be revised to RNY! I can't wait!

Congrats! I'm 10 weeks out from having my band removed and having RNY. It's been a great decision for me!

I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.

I had my Lap-band removed early last year, I kept getting constant infections around my port, my last one was so serious they took the entire system out. Once they did my infection cleared right up and I was fine. Just think my body did not like that foreign object in me. This July I finally had my RNY surgery, so far I am very happy with the results. Best decision I've made for myself so far.
