My wedding ring is now too big. It fell off yesterday in the grocery store parking lot. LOTS of thanks and kudos to the 7-year-old (and his mom) who helped me frantically search and eventually found it!

How scary. That was one of the things I was most looking forward too after surgery. It did not take long and they are too big. Glad you found it.

I went from a size 9.5 to a size 4.75.

I bought a cheap fake set to wear as I went down.  I sized my actual set only recently --

Wow... You had some seriously chubby fingers, LOL! I lost 190 pounds and only went from an 8.5 to a 6.5-7!

you are inspirational to me with the amount of weight you've lost.  I need reinforcement.  I've regained 25lbs :(   Very disappointed and depressed in my behavior.  Amazing you've stayed in the zone.  Congrats!!

thanks.  To be completely honest, though, I gained almost 10 pounds after my second knee replacement a year and a half ago and then gained several more during an absolutely insane work schedule last summer after the knee replacement (70 hour work weeks where I sometimes didn't plan very well and had to eat what was handy rather than what was healthy in order to keep my blood sugar up).

I have finally lost the weight I gained last summer, but I still have 8 or 9 pounds from the knee replacement to shed. Until I had the knee surgeries, though, I stayed within a 5 pound weight window for 5+ years. I'm still working on getting back into that range. It is slow going -- when you maintain on only 1400 calories, there is a limit to how many calories you can cut out per day without falling back into that diet deprivation mindset, and menopause makes it even harder -- but I am determined to get back to my maintenance weight.

Right?  Funny thing was that I never thought my fingers or feet were fat per se.  But obviously they were.  I had had my rings re-sized at least twice during my marriage -- once right after my pregnancy -- up to that size.  There were days when they were so swollen, I still couldn't wear them!  My feet were the same way -- I went from a 9 down to a 6.5/7.  Crazy huh!

I wish my feet would get smaller. I have lost 165lbs and am still the same size - 12. Skinnier yes so no longer a wide width, but still a 12.
