I see "NSV" on here all the time and I have no clue what it stands for.

I was wondering what it meant as well. I thought it was Non-Surgical Visit. LOL. I felt like too much of a 'noob' to ask.

For you and all other forum newbies, put "acronym" into the search feature and you will find all the posts relating to WLS jargon

I've also had success using the search feature by typing in the mystery letters.  I just tried typing "NSV" and had good luck.  This is yet another suggestion especially since knowing how to spell the word "acronym" is a SOB.

EDITED WITH A LAUGH:  Oops, just realized you didn't mean to type the actual word "acronym."

EDITED AGAIN:  I reread your reply--maybe you did mean to type the actual word "acronym" ??  I think either way works.

As long as I've clicked on this NSV post over three times today, sorry, I might as well add this afternoon's NSV:  an uneven brick on our patio caused me to take a fall.  I didn't get hurt, was able to get right back up again, and instantly thought how it could have been a bad scene three years ago with a BMI in the 60's.   Endnote:  my DD and I were making wood-burning crafts out on the patio.  My fall prompted me to burn the word "grace" on an old, wooden clothespin. ha. The clothespins hold photos on a large frame made out of old barn wood and chicken wire handcrafted by DH.  The most important clothespin burn has my WLS date of 11-26-12.

So sorry you had to take a tumble to get your NSV for the day, but how awesome to have an NSV!!! Way to go!!

The crafts you are working on sound pretty cute! Good luck and keep up the good work!

Thanks to you all for replying! What great tips for looking up the often used acronyms on this site. I must say that I have been blown away with all of the support I am already seeing from this site! This is such a wonderful way to connect with others! Thank you so very much for taking the time to reply to my questions.
