Congratulations on your Surgiversary!!!! Great list... love the 2 piece swimsuit. I most likely would never feel comfortable at a public beach or pool in one, but being able to wear one in your own backyard (I have a pool, too) must be awesome!

Highest weight - 440 lbs, Surgery weight - 395 lbs, Current weight - 291 lbs.

1. Cross my legs.

2. Sit in a theater seat.

3. Wear knee high boots

4. Wear normal size socks

5. Roll over in bed at night without pushing myself to a sitting position first

6. Enter a room without taking inventory of other women to see if I was the fattest

Yes yes...wear knee high boots. This was such a victory for me and now I have way too many to count

I also am looking forward to wearing knee high boots this fall winter, I had a pair I bought way back when and they have sat in my closet unwearable for YEARS.  And they are so much more in style now! Every year I see that look in the winter with jeans, and I am sooooo in there this year!!!

But even sandals this summer are so much more fun now that I feel like my legs are presentable!

I'm Jo   HW 245, SW 236, CW 151 Yeah (Normal BMI!!!!)

M1=213 (-23), M2=201 (-12), M3=186 (-15), M4=175(-11), M5=166(-9), M6=157(-9), M7=153(-4)

I get why it's hard to stop at only three things, but I will try harder than Kat did:  1) maintain weight loss successes 2) live a normal life 3) like myself very much

Hi All,

You WILL be able to do every single thing on your list!  And each time you do something, you will have this inner (and outer) smile!  It's the best thing you can ever do for you.  Ironically, 11 yrs later, I am still cautious as I sit on lawn furniutre or small folding chairs; as I forget that I am no longer at risk of breaking them!

Good luck and enjoy the ride, once it gets here!

I love these posts. Here are mine:

Cross my legs comfortably

Go shopping and not get tired

Run a 5K or run any distance for that matter

Go shopping stress free

I am three months out, love these lists and can't wait until I can add more NSV's to mine.

Sit comfortably in a booth, went out for daughter's birthday this weekend, lots of extra room, no boobs on the table!

Cross my legs, oh how I missed this.

Not get winded climbing the 19 steps between floors at work.  I'm up and down many times during the day.
