Finally earned my first "carrott"

Oh how beautiful!! Congrats on that first 50! 

I rewarded myself along the way with non-food rewards, mostly in the form of handbags. 

I don't understand using carrots as a metaphor for something good. Ick. And that whole thing about the carrot or the stick? To me it's like choosing between the stick and a lump of crap. I'll take the beating.
