Tears in my eyes!

I was up early this morning, so I walked two miles and did the 21 Day Fix Yoga work out before the rest of the house woke up.  My 11 year old son came up to me as he popped the DVD out, and told me how proud he was of me!  He is the reason I am doing this!  I hope to be a good role model for healthy habits!

I try to focus on Healthy Habits instead of weight loss.  There was a time in my life that I was way too thin!  My mom cried one time when she saw me in a bikini because of the bones sticking out.  So, I have always had an unhealthy relationship with food, although they presented differently over time.  I stress eat or sometimes don't eat at all when I'm stressed.  Over time, I found I ate when I was happy or stressed.  I'm still trying to figure it all out!

Such a sweet post.  I have 3 sons ages 11, 13, and 17.  I hope they will be proud of me, too.  That hope, along with the hope of doing more with them, were two of my main motivations to get the surgery.  Thanks so much for sharing this.
