I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!  They have become my go to snack.  My husband, daughter and I now just call them Protein snacks. LOL  I like them straight from the bag when we buy them but I prefer them cold!

Skinny, my favorite go-to (and I am NOT a big cheese eater) are Babybel light cheese.  I get them at Costco.  They're 50 calories, 5 grams of protein.  So, it's not a huge amount of protein, but a great on-the-go snack.

Hey Skinny,

some of my go to's are:

cheese curds, greek yogurt, Skinny Vanilla latte from Starbucks, hummus with either cucumber or sweet peppers strips to dip, roasted chick peas, marble cheese, peanut butter on apple slices, protein hot chocolate

Hope that helps!  happy shopping!

My "go-to" snacks are: Hard boiled egg with siracha, Sargento Light String Cheese, Baby Bell light Cheese, Beef jerkies, turkey Jerkies, Greek yogurt (plain) with a squirt of Davini Syrup. I still suppliment protein drinks too. I buy a lot of Atkins Protein Drinks and Premier Proteins Drinks. I stay away from nuts! I was eating nuts but then I realized I could easily eat more than my serving size I was allowed. You just need to try different things and see what works for you! Good Luck SS!

Oscar Meyer P3 Protein packs (diced meat, nuts & cheese) - these pre-measured pacs help keep me from eating more than I should.  And as mentioned above - my go-to snack is usually the Babybel lite cheese.

Pre-measured packages of stuff are especially important for snacks. For me, anyway. Portion sizes creep up over time, and it can become a major issue.

If it's 1 ounce, 100 calories, 4 ounces, 500 calories, or whatever, I'm most likely going to eat the whole thing.

Um, what kind of snacks HAVE you been eating if they haven't been protein forward? Just wondering.

Despite canned tuna/chicken, pepperoni, and jerky, what other protein snacks exist?

Any dense protein food can be a "snack". You have been around long enough to know this. 😁

Yeah and no.  My snacks have typically been red pepper and/or cucumber with tazakki or hummus. There are some carbs in there. So I was wondering if I should go "No carb" and if that is what is mean by "protein snack".
