Anyone experience this?

I've noticed in the morning my pouch seems like it's tighter or feels smaller. I use a scale and try to keep my meals around four ounces. In the mornings I've noticed I have trouble getting that much down. One bite of egg to much and I feel crampy for hours. It's awful.

Yes! I gave up eating solid food before 11 am. I drink half a protein shake for breakfast instead. When I do eat solid food too early in the morning, I feel terrible afterward. My pouch is much smaller and more sensitive in the mornings.

This is a common issue that may improve over time. Some folks find drinking something warm 30 minutes prior to eating helps with nausea.

Are you drinking beforehand?  Most of us need to lubricate our pouch before eating.  I see lots of people who eat 2 breakfasts, a protein shake first and then something solid after a couple of hours - same principle.

Personally I have a large mug of tea before, and have no problems eating a nice dense breakfast, which sees me through to lunchtime.  As you get further out you may need to eat breakfast to make sure you feel satiated enough to last the morning.

I will try having a shake before eating something solid, perhaps that is the issue. All I know is, I don't want to feel like crap for half of my work day. :(

Protein shakes count as a meal so I count it as breakfast .  I can't eat solid food in the morning.   I drink several cups of coffee in the morning and I add just a little protein powder to each cup. It holds me over until about mid morning, when I have a small snack (string cheese or a few almonds).

Eggs were tough for me unless they were really runny, and I could only eat one.  It took me a year before I could eat that much.

Not sure what the problem was, maybe its the eggs. Might have to change to something lighter in the morning. Had a shake this morning and everything was fine. Has a cheese stick, no issues. Which is good, because my pouch was not happy yesterday, tried having some grilled chicken for dinner last night and got sick. Today, everything seems fine. Weird.

I only rarely eat a dense breakfast. I have a large cup of tea and then a protein shake which I always make sure is around 30g protein...
