Why do people post what is right or wrong????
I don't think it has to do with who's doctor has the "right" plan. It is just plain common sense. My surgeon's plan had things on it like cereal, toast, etc. Those may be fine for some people but for me, those are the kind of things that got me in trouble. Just because we can eat something doesn't mean it's a good idea.
If your doctor has a post op plan that is heavy on carbs and light on protein then you probably have a doctor that doesn't really know a lot about post WLS nutrition. He may be the best surgeon in the world but not so much a good nutritionist.
