I made this years ago while doing South beach diet.. and it was really good.. so a good treat for the hot days!

Frozen Peanut butter cups..

1 8oz container fat free cool whip (with SBD seal of approval)
1/3 cup natural creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup hershey's light chocolate syrup (they also have sugar free and I used it)

Line a 12 cupcake pan with foil liners (mini) ..

combine 1 cup cool whip with pb with a whisk (I used food processor), fold in remaining cool whip. Divide the mixture into the liners evenly (approx. 2.5 TBSP each). Top each cup with 1 tsp. of chocolate syrup.

Freeze.
After its frozen, remove from pan and place in a freezer bag or container. Best eaten with a spoon, though LOL

73 calories each ..

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

Sounds good but I would house them all. Not a safe food for me to have. That is just me though.

If it was just you, me, and a batch of these, you would wake up hogtied in the closet, with me and the peanutbutter cups gone.

If I was going to a party I may take them. I don't think I could be trusted even making them. I grew up outside of philly and we had peanut butter candy cakes. I can't even look at them.

I would eat the whole batch in one day.  Absolutely a trigger food for me.  I could not keep them in my house.

I don't really count calories. I do however count carbs. Do you know how many carbs there are in 1 serving
