I have to tell you... I find your posts very inspiring. And, your puppy must LOVE you. You walk, walk, walk her come snow, rain, shine, etc. I am trying to be more active and feel very guilty for not walking my dog as much as you do! I think when I get home tonight, Zoey and I are going on a walk!

Also, you make me realize that this is a life long journey. You have reached goal, are very active but still make yourself accountable by posting here (and giving encouragement).

Thanks for your posts and success (you make it seem achievable).

My pup does loive her walks for sure. She is a rescued boxer who spent her first 5 years in a puppy mill. She grew up with only the space to turn around in her crate. When we first got her she was scared to leave the living room and would pace nonstop, but now a year later her walks help her get rid of some of her excess energy. She is such a sweetie and really helps me stay active too! This is an amazing journey for sure. My highest weight was 272 at a cardiologist appointment  over 3 years ago. I was seeing huim every 3 months and was a heart attack waiting to happen. My original weight goal was 160 which seemed unattainable at the time as I was overweight even às a child. I have been 117 to 121 for over 2 years now even with three foot surgeries where I could not exercise. A healthy active life is totally attainable one choice at a time!

Yay!  My trainee person is sitting with someone from IT today so I'm free to internet at my leisure.  Sort of.  I mean, I still have work to do.  LOL  My favorite food right now is watermelon, fo sho.  WATTAMELON.  I bought a huge one at Walmart over the weekend and it's sooooo good.  SO good.

So, do you guys remember my mystery bug "bite" and the spreading rash?  Well, I finished that damn course of antibiotics and it's not any better.  In fact, it's worse and now extends halfway up my thigh and around the back of my knee and calf.  I went back to the immediate care last night and the doc was like, "I have no idea".  That's helpful.    So, now I have a prescription for prednisone, which I'm not happy about.  And if it doesn't improve with that, I need to go to my regular doc for blood tests/Doppler/whatever.  Awesome.  I might just go and not take the steroids.

So, I know this was days ago, but I'm reporting a NSV from July 4!  My family went to Green Lakes and I wore a swimsuit and zero ***** were given that day.  I went swimming and sunbathed and walked around sans cover-up and felt pretty damn great.  Ta-da!

Ahem.  Time since surgery:  11 months, 3 weeks

B:  coffee and a Yoplait Greek peach yogurt

S:  Click Mocha

L:  Buffalo chicken salad, pork rinds, cheese stick

D:  Black bean burger, wedge of LC and an over easy egg

S:  WATTAMELON
