Happy Hump Day! I keep thinking today is Friday and I disappoint myself each time. I figured I would start out the post due to AV's temporary schedule I hope no one minds.
Question of the Day: What is your favorite food right now? Mine are hard boiled eggs and Yasso Chocolate Covered Ice Cream Bars in Salted Caramel... drool.

L: Persian food (new restaurant with a friend) the Ghormeh Sabzi looked good on the menu

D: Luna Protein Bar (working tonight)
S: Skinny Cow Salted Caramel Pretzel Bar

E: 4 mile run
Totals: Calories 1159, Protein 57 (might add a protein shake), Carbs 131, Fat 47
Hmmm favorite food right now....Cashews....which NEED TO LEAVE MY HOUSE!! hahahaha I am way to tempted by them!
3 Months since surgery
B: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop Syntrax vanilla bean torte
L: Leftover chicken "nachos" (mini peppers instead of chips)
S: Dannon L&F Greek Yogurt, strawberry
D: "Big Mac" salad with lean ground turkery, reduced fat shredded cheese, cooked onions, and thousand island
S: Light string cheese

Water and vitamins going well. Hopefully I will have time between getting ready for our vacation (laundry, packing etc) to go for a walk tonight!
I bought a big bag of "deluxe" mixed nuts at Wegmans a couple of weeks ago and it was like 75% jumbo cashews. After a couple of days I practically threw the bag at my husband when he was leaving for work and told him to get it out of the house. LOL

Another rainy day in Illinois and only a high of upper 60s too. Lily and I did 2 miles at the park under the umbrella. I will also do 3 more miles on the treadmill later. Post op 34+ months and weight at 117.8 today. On track with vitamins and fluids so far. Here's the food plan:B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz shrimp and a small plum D 31/2 oz ground beef with salsa and 1/2 c sauteed zuchini scroodles S Greek yogurt with nuts. Have an amazing Wednesday everyone and make smart choices!
Hey, I have a question! Do you weigh your meats before or after you cook them? I weigh mine cooked but I wonder if that's not the most accurate way...
