I had a good weekend.  I cut off most of my hair, spent a lot of time with my husband, got an amazing job offer which I accepted, and we almost finished our theater room in our house (we are huge movie people so it only seemed smart we turn a bedroom into a theater).

I am all over the carb challenge.  I have some mini challenges for myself, like reducing my need for cheese.  And only having 1/3 of my liquid intake being a calorie free drink other than water.  The rest has to be clear regular water.  

Time since surgery: 4 weeks

B: Cottage cheese

S: Pepperoni slices

L: Tuna salad

S: Soynuts

D: Salmon filet with spinach salad

Totals:  Cals 750, Carbs 20, Fat 49, Protein 64, Sugars 8

W/V Started

Hi all!  I haven't posted on this thread for awhile.  I have been at the beach for vacation (yay!) and then out of town at a leadership retreat (boo!).  I am back now and happy to be settling into a regular routine.  I had a great weekend.  I hosted a BBQ at my house for some of my high school class mates.  It was lots of fun and I got to see some friends that I haven't seen in years.  

I am attaching a picture I took this morning.  I haven't posted on the Friday photo thread for awhile, and I thought my outfit was cute.  I bought the dress a bit ago, but just fit in it this morning (yay again!).  It's a little dark, but hoping you can see it.

Time Since Surgery:  Almost 8 months

B:  Egg beater omlette with mozzarella and bacon pieces.

S:  Mixed fresh berries

L:  Bulgogi over lettuce

S:  Light and Fit Greek Yogurt - Chocolate Raspberry with PB2

D:  Grilled chicken thigh with greek orzo salad

Totals:  Calories 738, Protein 65, Carbs 42, Sugar 16

 

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

Thanks so much.  It is always a happy day when you buy something small and then it suddenly fits!

Love the outfit and glad you're back with us! You look so poised and just plain, HAPPY!!! Way to go!

Good morning ladies.  Late post again for me.  This is my last week at my current job so I have a ton of meetings scheduled with the people who are taking over my cases.  The stress eating might derail me, but I'm hoping the carb challenge will keep me in check.  At least I didn't start the day with a salted caramel bar from Starbucks like I momentarily considered.  I love friends who are there to talk you off the ledge.

B: Skinny Vanilla Latte and 2 oz grilled chicken

L: Greek salad with Steak Shwarma

S: Light and Fit and PB2

D:  Turkey Burger with Feta cheese and green onoins

TOTALS: Calories:  804; Protein - 107g; Carbs: 27g; fat: 26g (these totals are a bit low for me, so I'm sure there will be another (hopefully low carb) snack thrown in particularly if I can make it to the gym tonight.)

It was NOT easy and if my friend wasn't there with me, I don't think I could have exercised the same control.  Ugh, I hate the stress of changing jobs!
