It took me months to get my energy back and I'm 43.  But it does come, little by little.  Hang in there.

I'm about 5.5 weeks post op and I didn't really find my energy until about a week and a half ago. I still don't have it all, but it comes in spurts. The funny thing is, I don't realize I had any until I feel drained again - then I am bummed because I didn't take full advantage lol ... Hang in there and good luck in your journey :)

I was in my early 50's and took two, then one long nap a day for about six weeks afterward.  The more walking I did, the better I felt, the faster energy came back.

I took lots of naps. Make sure you are getting in all of your water.

I'm 48 and about 3.5 weeks post surgery, and just now I am feeling my energy coming back, I do get a wee bit tired at the end of the day. But not too bad.

I'm 38 and 4 wells post op and I still don't have energy.   We went to 3 stores today and I'm not only wiped out but I'm in pain again.

I know how you feel. I was so tried after surgery and I thought I was never going to feel normal again. My suggestion is just rest. Your are low on energy so give your body the rest it needs, you are still healing from major surgery. It took me about 5 to feel normal, maybe even better than normal. I feel great and have lots of energy and I think it is because when I was 3 weeks out I listened to my body and just took it really easy. Have faith and right now just take really good care of yourself. Before you know it you will be feeling amazing!

I also had energy issues; but exercise did help.
