I'm three weeks post op and have not lost any weight since week two. Is this normal? I get all my protein  and fluids. What am I doing wrong? I have lost 26lbs since surgery. Feeling discouraged .

yes - very normal ("three-week stall").  I didn't lose any weight weeks two or three but then dropped six lbs in week four.

Do a search under "Three week stall", Id venture to guess you'd get 10,000 hits, literally.  I think it is probably one of the single most asked questions on the site.  Keep to your plan and youll do great!

Good luck on your journey!

I went on a 3 1/2 week stall during my first month. Sounds impossible, but it happens. Doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong.

You lost 26 pounds in 2 weeks??  That's awesome!  Yep, i had that dreaded stall after week 2 also.  I stalled for almost 2 weeks and then BAM! I started really losing.  I was seriously starting to think I was done losing weight during that stall, lol.  It will pass.  Your body is trying to heal from major surgery and it needs to catch up with the new design plan.  Congratulations on your success so far.  You are only just beginning.  :)

If it makes you feel any better, I had surgery on the same day as you, my surgery weight was 276 and I've lost 18 lbs. Everyone is different.

Hello: Normal. That's 26/2=13 per week so far.... the stats norm is 2.2 lbs per week. It will not be a linear loss, and depends on your extra weight to loose. Exercise time yet? Make sure you get your vitamins, water and protein in too.... yes you already said you do. Not sure if you are checking your measurements, and probably you are still loosing inches all around. The scale will not be the only way to see your success. Relax, it's early, and in time things will show both on the scale and in smaller shoes and clothing sizes. Enjoy!
