What's on your menu, Monday?

I really hated my vitamins to start with.  I couldn't stand the taste.  I tried 4 different kinds before I found the ones I take now.  It's a capsule not a chewable and I LOVE IT!

Keep trying different kinds and you'll find one that works.  Many brands offer samples too!

Do you mind me asking - what vitamin do you take?  I HATE my chewables!

I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.

We had a blast!  pun intended.  :)  We had an adult sleepover so everyone could drink and not worry about driving home.  We bbq'd, we blew up 2 hours worth of fireworks, everyone drank except me!  I'm really proud of that fact.  I drank over my goal for water in the day.  I did eat way too much cheese and even enjoyed half a handful of chips.  That was bad.  could have been worse, but still bad.

But you're back in the game now, so don't beat yourself up.

I love how your menu includes "a sautéed brussel sprout!" Who other than a WLSer would have A brussel sprout!?

Hi all!  I can attest to the fun I had with Anny this weekend!  We took DC by storm!  And even got two workouts in!  We ate well - didn't even go to a single restaurant - we just ate food I had in the house (egg bites, chicken burgers, etc.) but we mayyyyy have had a bit of alcohol :)  I made a signature ****tail for a little party on Friday night - vodka with sugar-free, calorie-free orange creme seltzer water.  It was quite delicious.

I haven't contributed to this post in some time - I moved and last week was hectic getting settled in and into a new routine.  So here goes trying to come back with regularity.

B: Iced coffee with half and half and splenda, tuna made with light mayo and chopped onions, reduced fat pita chips

L: Tuna made with light mayo and chopped onions, reduced fat pita chips, 4 small roasted red peppers, 1 oz of port salut cheese (kind of like an antipasto plate)

S: Cheese and walnuts

D: TBD - meeting an old family friend for dinner

E: Rest day...I did not get up in time for the gym this morning.  I hate having a rest day but I suppose I can't beat myself up about it.  I scheduled all of my classes and gym sessions on my calendar for the rest of the week.

Totals: I seem to settle in at about 1,500 calories a day, over 80 g of protein, around 100 g of carbs if I don't work out.  I still weigh every single day to make sure I am in the 150s...

Have a great day, all!  Emily

Looks like you both had a great time Anny and DCgirl.    Mine was low key, we went  to a bbq at a friends house.  My daughter and I went to my sister's house to see fireworks, but daughter ended up getting sick from eating too much bbq so we ended up leaving and missing the fireworks. :(

Time since surgery:  11 weeks today holding at 202.2

B:  Premier Protein Vanilla Shake

L:  Turkey Burger and Slider Roll ( I know, carbs)

D:  Chicken Sausage and Green Beans

S:  SF Pudding

Vits down, water underway

Back at work today, haven't entered into MFP yet
