Late as usual! I am in the middle of an 8 hour test in my new job... I will do okay, not worried but I have to write down answers. Why the hell can't they figure out how do do this so we can use the computer??? LOL... we are on our lunch break as I write.

AV, rock on with your little black/tan self!!  LOL, has anyone noticed?? I love "secret" experiments.

And, no plans this weekend... still trying to get the house ready if we have our July 4th cookout. I am so pissed at my husband, son and their fighting, I am ready to run away.  Dad is mad at son for not texting or calling, son is mad at Dad for being mad... and I am mad at them both!!  Stupidheads.

My menu today:

B1: Tea and Sugar Leaf

B2: 1 oz Beef Jerky

L: 3 slices of Sargento's Ultra Slim Swiss Cheese (I ate about 1/2 of it and then it started smelling icky), 1/4 Cup cucumbers

S: Yoplait Greek yogurt, 100 cal, peach

D: Talapia (will try to eat 4 ozs since the cheese was icky), 1/4 cup of GG steamer veggies with cheese sauce

S: strawberry protein ice cream (tasted most excellent on the 2nd day... so this is a great, satisfying treat for me)

Totals: Calories - 572, Protein - 71, Carbs - 40, Sugar - 30

Next week, I am going to strive to keep my carbs under 40. I have noticed they have been creeping up and that's not good. I think I am going to cut my Sugar Leaf (sugar and stevia mixture) in my tea by half... and try to get to drinking unsweetened tea only. My Dad loved it, I can, too.

Everyone have a most excellent weekend and stay safe!!!

I always seems to get to this party when everyone else has gone home.    It is going to be hot here in Portland this weekend, so most of my stuff is indoors.  I have Pilates tomorrow morning and then Eddie Izzard tickets for tomorrow night.  I have been trying to see him for years, and this is the first time I have scored tickets.  I'm so jazzed about seeing him.  On Sunday I have my Dad.  I may go to see Jurassic World today.

My picture for today is one of the outfits that I bought in my power shopping trip to Nordstrom.  I have no will power.  It's another work restroom pic.  I tried to take one at home, but it was back lit and you couldn't see my cute outfit.

My menu is a little incomplete today.  It's is light on protein and calories, so I need to make some adjustments.

Time Since Surgery:  7 months

B:  Ham and cheese omlette

S:  Lite String Cheese and cappuccino

L:  Chicken thigh

D:  Beef Bol Gogi

Totals:  Calories 599, Carbs 34, Fat 25, Protein 55, Sugar 26

Have a great day and be well!

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

Looking good! I can't WAIT until I can wear something not made by Omar, the tent maker.  Soon.

Love your hair color, too!

Weekend plans are all about me going to get my kids from North Carolina and playing with baby animals on my farm up there.   I'm so excited!   A baby lamb was born this morning and I can't wait to snuggle it!

When I had my second surgery my doc was able to see how my stomach is healing.   He allowed me to move forward with some foods that would make the trip a lot easier, thank god.   I'm still trying to get over portion sizes!  But I measured breakfast snack and lunch and I did great!   Finally didn't overeat and make myself miserable!   Yaya

I don't have the calorie counts as I'm on the road but I will post what the menu is.

Time since RNY: a little over 2 weeks.

Breakfast: 2 spoonfuls of 4% cottage cheese

Snack: 2 small market pantry turkey bites

Lunch: slice of deli ham and slice of baby swiss

Snack: 2 Oz tuna salad

Dinner: 2 slices of deli ham, half a spoonful of hummus

So a total bone head move.   I left half my pain med at home and forgot all my vitamins.   I guess I'll be getting over my pain pretty fast.   But I'm going to get some chewable vitamins and some B12 drops to get me through.

I late to the party as usual.  Here's my Friday pic - it's of the wedding I went to at Mission Bay for my neighbors.  It's the first real "social" outing, especially one with food that I've joined in on and it was a blast!  I bought this nice blue sundress and matching shoes for the day.  This is my best friend of over 30 years with me.  And oh my!  There was so much food!  But i did okay and just picked a little at the fresh yellow tail and some grilled chicken.
