Good morning! My house is also a complete and utter mess, AV, but instead of doing anything about, I'm running away from home for the weekend! 

My grandmother has held on all week, much to everyone's surprise - it's been up and down - but I'll head out to see her this afternoon and then I'm continuing on to my hometown because my childhood bff is up from SC to visit her parents and I get to join the party!

So here's my photo for the day, I snapped it this morning. Do I look like a woman who's ready to ask someone for $250,000? Because in 2 hours that's what I'm going to be doing. Yep. I'm going to ask someone to give me (ok, my organization) a quarter of a million dollars. I'm a little nervous...

Let me highly recommend looking for Calvin Klein dresses at places like Ross and TJ Maxx. I have 3 and will buy more when I spot them - they are SO tailored and flattering (if I do say so myself). Whenever I put one on I feel awesome AND I got this one over the weekend on the clearance rack for $20. The one thing I have to ignore is that everything else I'm an 8, but in these dresses I'm always a 10 - whatever they look and feel awesome!

One last thing, I DID go on the date last night and it was nice. He sent me a text this morning wishing me luck on my ask, so that was sweet. I didn't really feel much chemistry with him, but if he asks me out again I'd say yes just to see what happens.

I LOVE your dress!  At my size I never had luck with TJ Maxx or Marshall type places!  I cannot wait until its easier for me to get CHEAP clothes!!  waaahoooo

If there is a Ross within 100 miles of you you should TOTALLY make a pilgrimage - they usually have really good plus sized stuff and it's so cheap you don't feel quite so guilty buying it and then only being able to wear in a few weeks. Ross is WAY cheaper than TJ Maxx and Marshall's too.

I just put in my zip code and it came up with NOTHING! lol  Guess there isn't one near New Hampshire! DAMN

I finally found a map, closest one is in PA.  That would be a LONG drive for discount clothes! HAHA

You look amazing!  Don't worry about the ask, the absolute worst that can happen is they say no.  More likely, they will offer you less than you asked for but its still a win.  However, I don't see how anyone could say no to you in that dress!  Simply spectacular!

I'm so happy you went on the date.  The follow-up text is sweet.  That alone deserves one more date ;)
