OMG, cowboy action shooting sounds so fun!  Is it like a reenactment type thing?  Or am I not imagining it correctly?

You know, I need to get some more color in my wardrobe.  I just realized that I am pretty much wearing the same thing I wore yesterday; khaki crop pants and a black t-shirt.  I bet I could wear this outfit all week because I have lots of black and khaki.  LOL  You know what?  I'm totally going to do that.  HA!

Yes it is but it's also a contest for accuracy of shooting and the time it takes you to hit the targets. You can get all sorts of awards for both time and hitting all the targets too. Just fun to watch and a chance to meet some good people too! And some of the women are really good and scary fast. You should have seen the one woman who was tinier than me(probably 100 pounds soaking wet) shoot her shotgun! Made me think of Annie Oakley!

Good Morning All!

Lol, I'm with Anny, I'm a total shopping ***** too, and like her, I used to buy stuff and never wear it, but now I buy stuff and wear it all, all the time. I dress up so much now, it's ridiculous!  Even if it's just me at home and I'm not going out, old me would be in sweats ALL day, now I totally doll myself up and then just hope that my dogs appreciate it, lol.  I've been shopping a ton lately, b/c I had zero summer clothes, it's a problem.  I think the most recent things I bought were a hot pink tunic (so not a color I would have purchased pre-op) and white jean shorts.  Now I just need to buy a ton of self tanner b/c my legs will not look good in white shorts if I don't have layers and layers of self tanner on :)

Time since surgery: 17 months

B - 1/2 veggie wrap w/ hummus

S - String Cheese

L - Tofu egg salad w/ cucumber and tomato

D - leftover carne asada

W/V - On track

E - None planned, but I know I really need to get some in, so I'm planning on doing a sort of mini circuit when I get home and before I go out with friends (I'm thinking of taking some cool moves I've seen on Instagram lately and adding them all together to create one intense workout)

Have a great day everyone!

Ugh. Bra shopping is THE. WORST.

I lucked out and my BFF was getting bigger boobs (hello breast feeding) while I was getting smaller boobs (le sigh) and she passed along 4 or 5 barely worn bras. Now you know you're good friends when you can hand-me-down bras. In fact, I randomly got 2 bras in the mail from her with no note - it was somewhat hysterical.

FOUR PAIRS OF WEDGES?! Jealous. I'm in the market for metallic wedges - but I want that not silver, not gold kind of metallic and I'm having the damnest time finding what I have in mind!

I HATE bra shopping.  I have one bra right now that fits.  Needless to say it is beginning to unravel due to the endless washing.  I do have lots of sports bras but I don't count them so much....

Good luck!

So, the last piece of clothing I bought was a little black half cardigan to wear over sleeveless tops. I needed it because I am afraid if I get in a strong wind, my bat wings will flap and away I will go!!!  I hope in months down the road, when my arms look really bad, that I continue to be able to laugh about it.  They look really bad.  Them and my tube sock boobies (always have the song Tube Snake Boogie in my mind now).

So, I was so tired yesterday... I don't know why. I fell asleep on the couch as soon as I got home. Got up and washed dishes and promptly returned to the couch to snooze more. Then, went to bed at 9:30 PM. Needless to say, the old man was pissed at me because I am never allowed to be tired...  Oh well... lol. So, I didn't even eat supper... but I was down 2 more lbs today. I guess I needed that sleep!!

My menu today:

B: Just tea and Sugar Leaf

L: The innards of a Subway 6" inch meatball sub (4 meatballs and provolone cheese).  I didn't pack my friggin' lunch due to blissful sleep.

S: Yoplait strawberry cheesecake greek yogurt, 100 calorie

D: 3 oz chuck eye steak that I didn't have last night and 1 tablespoon A-1

S: Hot tea with Sugar Leaf and Genepro

Totals:  Calories - 779, Protein - 62, Carbs - 49, Sugar - 35

Everyone have a great day!!!!

My bat wings are seriously bad.  Like BAD bad.  And you know what?  I.  don't.  care.  LOL  I'm still keeping my eyes on the surgery prize, don't get me wrong, but I got tired of having to worry about covering them all the time.  They look bad, so what.  If I'm hot, I'm letting my freak flags fly, baby!  I've worn more tank tops and short sleeves this year than any other.  Woo!

Me too AV! The first summer I was thinking with vayt wings I covered them up all the time. Now I know they are saggy but I don't care. I am proud of the hard work I have done to get to where I am and don't care who knows that I used to weigh 270+. I see them as a reminder of where I came from! Besides my arms even with saggy skin look better than most 56 yeatr old women!
