What food did you love before RNY you now hate?
I never hated yogurt but I never loved it either. I could eat it - since surgery I can't eat it at all.
The other thing I have noticed is spicy foods - I used to love spicy stuff - but since surgery I can take one or two bites but after that I just can't eat anymore. I just do not like the taste of it.

Cottage Cheese! Pre surgery I ate that daily. Then during my "soft food" stage after surgery I ate more of it and one day I just couldn't get it past my nose. I started to gag. Never had it since and looking at it gives me the willies. I loved, loved milk pre surgery, drank a ton and needed my own personal cow. Now I don't like milk at all. I switched to Lactose free milk and only use it in my coffee or mixed in a protein shake. So weird how tastes change.

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Applesauce but that is mostly because I used it to get down my crushed pills before I was cleared to swallow them. It makes me ill to look at it now. But oddly enough I developed a love of apples. Could take or leave them before surgery but now I love them.
Breakfast saugsage. Again, can't look at it. I can eat smoked turkey sausage or chicken sausage.
Scrapple..if you know what that is. If not just take "scrap" and know that it is basically pig scraps all ground up. But I could eat the bacon flavor pre-op. Now it gags me.
It seems to be mostly foods higher in fat that turn me off. Except for that applesauce (shudder).
I never loved eggs but liked them, especially omelets. After 7 years I can eat an egg but they're still not a favorite food. Rock Road ice cream was a huge favorite or really any chocolate ice cream. I don't care for it at all now. One reason being the high sugar. I've tried Carb Smart ice cream but just don't care for the taste.
Before RNY, I love sweet rolls. Now, I have no problem passing them up. Fried food is a turn off too. Used to love chicken strips.
