Real quick question for my girls out there... I had my surgery on May 26th so I'm almost a month out and I haven had my period since a week before surgery. Is that normal? Anyone else have that issue?

I don't think I had mine for a couple of months afterward, body adjusting. If you're sexually active and ANY chance of pregnancy, I'd be taking tests! Could kill you and/or the baby this early in the game. Meanwhile enjoy not having a period!

That's kinda what I figured it was... Just changes in my body and I have read that drastic weight loss can cause you period to stop as well.

It is totally normal for your cycle to get whacky. Some women end up with a light period with months on end (ugh) and some stop getting it for months on end. I'm 15 months out and basically haven't had my period since surgery....

But, like the Zombi said, if you're sexually active, be extremely careful. Pregnancy at this point is not a good idea AND women often see their fertility sky rocket post-op so it's a dangerous combo.

My first period after surgery the day I came home. The next month my endometriosis symptoms were horrible, the next was normal then I had a second on a week and a half later....then 2 weeks later another one. Whacky is an understatement for sure. Our hormones get out of sorts but I hear its like that the first 6 months.

My first cycle after my surgery was just a few days late, then since then... 28 days like clock work.  Just like before surgery!  I was hoping for a break! LOL

Just an update because I'm sure everyone's wants to know... Not really, but I'm going to share anyway because it may help someone else. I got my period today and oh boy it is not a fun one. I plan to go on the pill again but I know that will not work as birth control, I just use it to help keep me normal. I've gotten the ok for my doctor.
