I cut some ribeye steak (not the highest quality) into bite size pieces and dredged then in a very small amount of almond flour and then fried them up a bit of oil.

Thanks!! I love rib eye but they are just sooo expensive! I usually have the butcher cut it into 4 or 5 oz for me!

Bakery...hhmmmmm.  I have always been just a big artisan or homemade bread fan!  No more of that for me for a LONG TIME!  But seeing homemade bread makes me sigh sometimes.  lol

We had an okay weekend, I guess.  We went out for our anniversary Friday night, and our little ones had their first sleep over at my parents house.  It went really well, so THAT was good!  Saturday we had a awards/cook out for my daughter's baseball team/league.  Then we had to go to a family party right after.  On Father's day our two little ones (4 and 21 months) were REALLY pushing buttons and testing boundries.....I didnt know if they were going to live until today!  Phew LOL

11 weeks since surgery

B: 3/4c skim milk, 1 scoop Syntrax vanilla bean torte

L: One "mini pizza".  I used this crust recipe.  I put a teeny bit of sauce, teeny bit of cheese, itty bitty pineapple, bacon & deli ham

S: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt

D: 1.5 oz steak tips, teeny bit of wedge salad (left overs from anniversary date)

S: Light string cheese

Good weekend here too. Went to the inlaws Sunday and my oldest son and his girlfriend drove dôwn for Fathers Day too so it was good to see them. They are getting ready to move to Minnesota at the end of July so we won't be seeing them much then. Sorry to hear about your grandma and Mr. Ikea,Anny. Praying for you and your family too. My bakery kryptonite is any sort of pie or cake except chocolate. My mother in law had key lime pie yesterday and I could imagine how it tasted! I stayed far away from it though! I did well!  My daughter insisted on my kryptonite (cheesecake) for her birthday.  We went to the Cheesecake Factory and picked up one piece for each of the people who wanted some.  That made it easier for me.  Boy was it tempting though.  I am just glad she didn't ask me to make one.  The thought of a whole cheesecake sitting in  my house.  Sheesh!

Anny, I am sorry to hear about your Grandma and Mr. Ikea.  I watched one of my newly divorced girlfriends date and it took her a few frogs to find her prince.

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

I love anything that comes from a bakery-but probably cinnamon rolls would have been my favorite-all ooey gooey with cream cheese frosting like the ones you get at the fair. But they smell way to sweet now and luckily even just the smell of donuts makes me sick to my stomach.

I am thinking I might try a aqua "boot camp" class tonight at my gym since hula hoop is over. Has anyone ever heard of it?!?!

Here is what today looks like:

Time since surgery: 10 months

B: SF latte, egg beater scramble, fruit (1/2 pear and some green grapes) and PB2 thins

S: Cinnamon raisin thin addictives and a laughing cow cheese wedge

L: Left overs from Mexican food on Saturday-grilled chicken, black beans and green leaf lettuce and some trail mix

S: L&F Greek Blueberry yogurt and a handful granola

D: Flat out pizza and froyo

E: ½ hour stationary stepper and maybe an aqua class

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals: 1216 Protein: 83 Carbs: 149 Fat: 39

Have a great one!
