Gosh, I don't think I've had a frozen meal of any kind since starting my WLS journey.  Once I started reading labels, I learned that even "healthy" frozen items are anything but healthy.  I have to watch not only calories/carbs/protein, but also sodium because I have heart disease.  For example, the Lean Cuisine Four Cheese Pizza has calories:350/carbs:57/protein:19, but the sodium is 580 mg.  Carbs/Sodium way, way too high for me; calories and protein are ok though.  These meals are almost as bad as fast food.

My pizza treat is low carb tortilla, with diced salt free tomatoes, mushrooms and/or peppers and/or onions, with 2% cheese.  Yummy, Yummy!

Congratulations on being so, so close to goal -- I can understand your excitement!  Way to Go!

Mary

So very proud of you.  How much have you lost in 6 months after surgery if you don't mind me asking.

I have only lost 71 lbs and I am 7 months out.  Kind of discouraging.......

I wish I was in onederland

But I wont complain.

Please keep posting.  I love to read your posts.

When I hit goal, I bought myself a really gorgeous purse I'd wanted for years. ( then I bought a couple more just because.  )

I think rewarding/ treating yourself is well deserved-and important, but honestly, food treats/rewards can lead you astray. You might very well be able to withstand the temptation for more processed carbs that pizza could bring, but why chance it?

I LOVE Mary's suggestion. It's still treating yourself, but not nearly as damaging.
