Grasping at straws, and hoping against hope.  I'm over 4 months out and no hair loss yet.  Please tell me if you had no hair loss at all, or very, very little... and was it thick or thin to begin with?

Mine is so fine and thin already, can't afford to lose much.

GOAL REACHED! 170 lbs lost...

I am seven months out and have not had any hair loss.  Mine is very thick.  I am a breast cancer survivor and lost all of my hair when I was receiving chemo.  It has just grown back to where it was before, so I am hoping I caught a break this time.  Fingers crossed!

I am 7 year survivor of breast cancer and 3 months out from RNY and I haven't lost any hair either. I am hoping that I don't! Maybe the hair gods are with us on this run! Haha 😘😁

Mine kicked in at month five and lasted a couple of months.  Mine was thick and wavy and I did lose a lot.  Fingers crossed for you that it is a minor (or non-existent) event.

I started losing mine even before surgery! I still don't know if it was from my pre-op (and later post-op) weight loss or if it's just a normal summer molt (I've always shed like a Persian cat).

I had very little hair loss. I have a ton of hair though. I would consider that I was shedding a bit not losing clumps.

I am about 16 months out and did not lose my hair.  My hair is short, and it did not get thinner.  It is straighter, something I attribute to the fact that I color it.

I have lost more in menopause than I did after ANY of my surgeries.  It was no big deal
