Bug bites are horrible. We have greenhead flies here and they are brutal in the summer. I haven't seen any yet thank goodness. They go for your ankles.
B:Egg whites with ham and some cheese
L:Turkey roll up or chicken salad
D:Tuna fish with some feta and olives
S:Yogurt cheese sticks
I may make a ricotta bake with some zucchini and chicken sausage this week.
Vitamins are in water is going down. I am very tired today. I do not like Mondays. Driving up and back four hours killed me yesterday.
I need to get my butt in gear. The girl across the street had a baby so I want to make them dinner. She had boy number three so she has her hands full. They are all under the age of five.
Mosquitos LOVE my daughter, have since she was an infant! I hate those little suckers. We have tried every bug spray and avon skin so soft, nothing helps! The only thing we have found that keeps them away is plain old Bounce dryer sheets, the cheapos do not work. Maybe they will help you! Hope the bites you have heal soon!
Oh! I haven't heard of that! Do you rub them on your skin or something? Or just keep them "on" you?
We also have these bat**** insane deer flies here. They are like stalkers; once they zero in on you they will not leave you alone. And they bite. I look like a lunatic when I walk the dog this time of year; flailing my arms and yelling "get away from me!" at what looks like nothing. LOL
Yikes, doesn't sound pleasant at all. I hope you and your son feel better soon. My weekend wasn't too exciting although we did hit the roller rink again yesterday.
Here is what my plan looks like today:
Time since surgery: 10 months
B: SF Latte, egg beater scramble with cheese, spinach and bacon, fruit (peach and apple)
S: Cranberry thin addictives and a laughing cow cheese wedge
L: P3 Turkey pack, tad of trailmiz and a string cheese
S: L&F Greek Blueberry yogurt with a handful of granola
D: Grilled chicken salad and froyo
E: ½ hour stationary stepper and my last hoop class of this session. Trying to decide if I want to sign up for the second one...
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals: 1204 Protein: 97 Carbs: 108 Fat: 41
Hope everyone has a great day.
I'm so sorry to hear about the bites AV - I too am perpetually bug food. Its gotten better this year as I'm constantly wearing long sleeve, even in this Texas heat, because I'm always cold now.
b - Cappuccino soy protein drink
s - beef jerky & 2 dark chocolate squares (movie snack food at Jurassic World this morning)
l - HEB Greek Yogurt 100 w/ chocolate pudding mix & sriracha almonds & deli turkey w/ mustard
s - SF popsicles
d - homemade chili
The weekend was good, though it went a bit off the rails yesterday afternoon. I ended up hosting a party for my mom bc she really shouldn't volunteer herself for things, but she just wants to be helpful. So I got "invited" to a party, but I did all of the cooking, serving and hosting. Ok, but next time just tell me so I can be prepared. As a result of unplanned time in the kitchen around way too much crap food I ended up snacking a bit (I gave up any semblance of dinner for it). I need to be better when things pop-up and around bad food.
