How to get fluids in while grieving

So sad about your bunny.  I know how hard that is, my furbabies are my children, so I get it.  You already have some great advice here.  Just wanted to add that my doc said you can get by with one or two days without all your fluids, but no more.  After that it's extremely dangerous and I know you don't want to end up in the ER.

Big hugs and tiny sips.  Just do your best.

I am so sorry for your loss, FurKids.

As suggested above, try warm fluids like tea or broth. While your intake is lower than usual pick up a powerade or propel (zero calorie electrolyte replacement fluids) so you don't get dehydrated.

Thanks everyone for the advice and concern. Warm liquids really helped, as did Propel. For some reason it was mainly water and Crystal Light that my mouth didn't want to swallow. My husband helped me clean out the bunny playpen last night, and today we'll be making a huge donation of toys, treats, and bedding to the Oregon Humane Society.
