Bucket On My Head
I am shocked to hear that so many of you have also experienced this. Although I'm sorry you have to share this anomaly with me, it's nice to know I'm not a freak case. And Quajohn, it's the same with me... it comes and goes but when I'm talking on the phone or with a client at work it's worst.
And for those of you still suffering from it, the doc says exercise can exasperate it, too. As well as drying agents like decongestants and antihistamines. To temporarily relieve the symptoms, lie flat with your legs raised 20 inches for a few minutes (up to 4 times a day).
Thanks again for this forum to share... and yes... I'm proud to now have skinny ears, even though it's a pain in the rear! LOL
I don't have the symptoms you are describing but I have ear issues that I have been seeing a doctor for over three years now...with no relief.
I had surgery 6 1/2 years ago and lost about 200 lbs. A little over three years ago I started having issues with my ears. Basically there is ALWAYS fluid in my ears. I have to constantly take decongestants and nasal sprays with steroids to keep my tubes clear and open. If I don't they start popping (when I yawn, blow my nose stuff like that). If it gets worse my ears get infected. I get more than a couple ear infections a year.
I was wondering if this could be connected to the same type of thing? I will bring this up with my doc...and maybe see an ENT
