What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
The outfit does sound really cute! As for the lifting, I go to a class at the gym (not really meathead type). I do one that is a senior citizen circuit and one that is a little harder, okay a lot harder. I think that arm challenge sounds great! My shoulders have no muscle at all.

Good morning,
Your outfit sounds cute. As for the lifting, I've never heard of those programs. I intend to do lifting after I've lost a more significant amount of weight. I was just planning to use the trainer at the gym, like I used to back in the day. I have batwings now, but I can still see some evidence of shape in my upper arms where I used to have more muscle.
Another half day of work becaue I have a nutritionist appointment. Can't wait to go over my menu with her.
B: Premier Protein Shake
L: 1/2 whole wheat english muffin, tuna w/ light mayo
D: Chicken Tenders, carrots
S: Possibly SF pudding
Good Morning Everyone,
Another crazy week here, but it's almost the weekend so I'll survive :) I can't wait for to start the arm challenge with Anny, I think lifting is so good both for tightening things up and your metabolism, not to mention the long term benefits as we age and start losing major muscle mass. I think the key to any exercise program, is to pick one you'll do. I really think it's that simple, you'll see results from something you do consistently. Not that I'm not a sucker for spending a ridiculous amount of time on the Brazillian Buttlift infomercial, convinced I too could have the butt of a super model, but at the end of the day, I know I won't do those DVD's, so I never actually buy them, lol.
Time since surgery: 16 months
B - 2 string cheeses
S - 1/2 leftover boar's head turkey wrap minus the wrap
L - TBD (I'm thinking waba grill veggie and steak bowl, no rice)
D - Leftover bowl if I go to waba (I really need to go grocery shopping :)
W/V - On track now, thanks to the post reminding me I forgot to take them this morning
E - None planned
Have a great Thursday everyone!
Good morning everyone! AV, the outfit sounds cute. I love statement necklaces . . . on everyone else. I swear, I don't know how to wear them. Maybe it comes from years of having a neck that was too large for most necklaces to look right, who knows. But I love to admire them on others. As far as lifting goes, I do a circuit class at the gym once or twice a week. We do weights that target every area of the body. I do notice a difference and love how strong the class makes me feel. I think you should try it!
Here's my food plan:
B: Smoked salmon with a tablespoon of cream cheese (lox and bagel without the bagel)
S: Dannon Light & Fit with PB@
L: up in the air. I'm an attorney and I have a court appearance at 1:30 so I'll pick up something along the way
D: New York Strip steak and Brussels Sprouts
TOTALS (without lunch) Cal.: 428; Protein: 57g, Carbs: 15g, Fat: 11g
You rock that outfit, girl!!! Size 12... sounds good! I think lifting is what I need to do, too. What am I talking about, any form of exercise is what I need to do! LOL. But, I think lifting will definitely help with toning your arms, core, etc. Just look at DC Girl... I think she said that her PS said you need a strong core so they have to do less tightening during the tummy tuck. And, I don't know about you, but I am going to HAVE plastic surgery! I am thinking about joining AnnyBannany and Dodgergirl on the arm challenge... I even dug out my hand weights!
My menu today:
B1: Tea and Truvia
B2: 3 oz Shrimp with little butter and teryiakyi
L; Wrap on a La Banderita low carb tortilla, with 2 oz Hillshire Farm honey roasted turkey, 1 slice Kraft American Cheese, Mt. Olive NSA bread and butter pickle chips and mustard

S: Strawberry protein shake (small)

Oh, and thanks for the pb coupon, I had some Vermont Peanut Butter White Avalanche (white chocolate and peanut butter) at the house and my son loved it. I am sure PB and Co is just as good... so I am going to use the coupon to get me and my son some.
Everyone have a beautiful day!!!

I am very late in the game today. I had to drive my daughter half way to meet her boyfriend. So I spent 4 hours in the car. I don't mind driving but it makes me tired.
B:Egg whites with some cheese and sausage
L:Salad with chicken and avocado
D:Shrimp from Costco
S:Cheese stick
Vitamins are in water is going down. Exercise is weeding the flower beds. We had some rain last week and they get out of control fast.
I would like to do some strength training.
Have a good night.
