since my surgery March 12th this year, I have noticed on my first day, I get major dumping syndrome (sweats, stomach cramps, vomiting, runs, etc) and I don't even have to eat anything or drink anything.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I would venture to guess that this is some sort of hormonal response.  Since you are not eating or drinking anything, it's definitely not dumping syndrome.

Have you asked your surgeon or ob-gyn if that is normal?

Dumping is caused by food. If there's no food moving into your intestines, what you're dealing with isn't dumping.

Dumping is a physiological reaction to too much unprocessed sugar reaching the portion of your intestine below the bypass, so what you are experiencing is NOT dumping if you are not eating anything.

More than likely what you are experiencing is hormonal in nature.  The first couple of years after my surgery, I had horrible symptoms during my period.  According to my doctor, it was the fluctuations in my hormones with all of the weight loss and changes in diet and exercise.  It eventually leveled out.
