Awesome picture! I forgot to mention, my car is named Shrek. LOL The side mirrors look like Shrek's ears. And it's green. LOL
Love the picture!
When I was a kid up through middle school, all we did was roller skate. It was a small town, with very little entertainment. But I was fit!!!
I can't wait to go roller skating again. I am just too scared right now but give me a few more pounds and feeling more balanced and I am there. My grandson, who is 7, says that he is going to teach me to roller skate again, God love him. I am still going to make sure that my son is there, too, so he will be able to drag me over to the carpeted section to help me up! (Just kidding... he will probably need to get a crane).
Hi everyone!
Sounds like some busy weekends are planned! Mine is pretty busy I guess...I am going out for a bit tonight with a friend (though not late since I was at a concert last night and slept MAYBE five hours), then making a huge donation to a charity tomorrow morning, going to the gym, and leaving for a business trip to Nice, France in the afternoon. I have some trepidation about this trip - just making sure I stay active and make good food choices is tough when in FRANCE. I found a gym close to the place I am staying so I plan to beg them to let me join for a week ha ha.
I drive a 2008 VW Jetta named Norbert. I own him, and though he is almost 8 years old, he has 35,000 miles on him! The joys of city living. Many days I have to think very hard about where on the street my car might be parked since I haven't seen it in so long :)
My menu is partially in the air, but here goes:
B: Large iced coffee with half and half, 2 Amy-Lu andouille chicken sausage from Costco (30 g protein in 2 sausages!)
L: A salad from Chop't Salad Company with avocado, pepper jack cheese, grilled chicken, onions, cucumbers, a little lettuce
S: Cheese? I am low on groceries.
D: Out with a friend - will play it by ear
E: Well I went to the gym twice yesterday and got 25,000 steps in! I am already at 11,000 steps for the day (went for a sweaty walk this morning) and I am doing a class at lunch. Trying to pre-emptively guard off weight gain in France!!!
Have a great day everyone! Oh and for selfie Friday, this was me on Wednesday...I work from home but I had meetings in our Northern Virginia office and this is me working hard (or hardly working?) Ha ha!
