What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
You guys! There are not NEARLY enough photos for Photo Friday! Come on, show off a little, darnit.
In honor of my "Two Week Gym Challenge" I'm posting a picture of me sweaty and gross after BodyCombat last night. It is a gratuitous gym mirror selfie, my apologies. But I was feeling strong and fit and I wanted to document it!
As for my car - I drive a Honda Fit that I love, love, love. It is AMAZING what you can fit in the Fit - I once had a bed frame and mattress plus two full grown women in it! My parents got one first, then a few months later I got one, a few months after that my god father got one, and don't you know it, a few months later my god mother got one. If we're all at a gathering together it's like a Fit reunion. I do have to admit to hating being so dependent on my car, that's one thing I miss about city-living.
This morning I had a breakfast meeting at a VERY fancy and exclusive CRICKET CLUB. Cricket. Yes, seriously. I had to wear STOCKINGS. It was 80 degrees at 7am and I had to wear stockings! Let me just tell you that as soon as I walked into my office I took those suckers off. The breakfast meeting ended up being just coffee, so I stopped at Wawa on my way in and picked up the best option they had in stock - a Chobani Flips in the Nutty for 'Nana flavor, which is, in fact, delicious. I recommend it.
Time since surgery: 15 months
B: Coffee and half & half, Chobani Flips
S: almonds
L: turkey sloppy joe, string cheese, granola thin
S: turkey sticks and Babybel Light
D: TJ's chicken sausage
S: popcorn* and froyo bar
TOTALS: Calories 1096, Protein 71, Carbs 89, Fat 54
V/W: started
E: headed to the gym after work - either a new "Hiking intervals" workout I got from PopSugar Fitness or a spinning class
My numbers are low (for me) today, so I'll need to get some more protein in somewhere. Stay tuned.
Have a great weekend all - I'm headed to my parents tomorrow (with Mr. Ikea, who has spent time with my parents on a few occasions now but hasn't been to their house) and we're going to make strawberry jam - I'm VERY excited!

Lookin' good, Anny!
About the Fit, I admit I'm intrigued by that one, too. My parents always drove Hondas and loved them.
Was anyone playing cricket? I once heard someone describe it as "baseball on valium". LMAO
Sadly, no, no one was playing cricket. It was 7:30 in the morning and 80 degrees so I can't say I'm surprised. The grounds were INSANELY gorgeous though. I can't even begin to imagine how much it must cost to belong there...

Seriously! The gas mileage is awesome! Now, I mostly do stop and start suburban driving so I get like 30 miles to the gallon, but when I'm on the highway I get 40+ and it's amazing.

Yes, seriously. It was pretty much AWFUL! I had one pair in my drawer and of course put a giant hole in them when I put them on this morning, luckily it was up at my hip and I could just nail polish and go, but argh!!!!

Last night I took it out of the bag and hung it on the back of my closest door to get me through these last three days! I love so many of the classes I've done in the two weeks, but making time every single day is rough!
