I only go by clothes size after 12 years and size never changed. Size 8-10 works for me. Well I had my welcome to Medicare physical and had gained 6 pounds since last year. Only a bypass 'person' would understand I freaked. Now the good news. Since May 13 I have lost it and a few more. I smiled when I heard the Werthers  Candy comment . That was my guilty pleasure. Of course not just one, ok well one bag. Cold turkey the candy and the pounds came off. My point: at any age you can lose with this tool. I do not get sick from sugar , fats are my enemy. So don't ever give up, you can also get it off again. Just need to know what went into mouth

Great job Kathy!  Also, congrats on 12 years of success --- you should truly be proud.

What an inspiring post. As a newbie since 6/10 I have been scouring this site for information and advice from others. As a revision from lap band to RNY the one fear I have had is that once I lost the weight after 18 months this tool would stop working and then I was on my own. Thanks so very much for disabusing me of that false notion.
