Does this mean I am not a 'dumper'
I'll tell you what I told the OP. Just assume you dump. You definitely don't want to test the waters. Dumping is TERRIBLE, it's absolutely AWFUL and should be avoided at all costs.

I don't dump per say but I do have some blood sugar issues if I eat some things. I do have a few bites of dessert a few times a week (literally a few bites) but I am also 2 years out. A lot of people DO NOT Dump. Spend this next year (AT LEAST) building new habits. Which doesn't mean you don't ever eat cookie dough but it should be a rarity. Your pooch is a tool its not the end all be all. You habits with eating, exercise, and lifestyle are what its helping you change. At a year out I can mostly eat normal if I wanted to at two years I certainly can. I may not be able to eat as much but I can eat a good bit and I can eat a huge range of things. Its my choices and my exercise routine that keeps me at my goal. You probably wont dump..you might but I don't think its the majority of people that do.

A middle aged over the hump and over what "I'm suppose to do" woman, with the wild spirit and a nasty case of depression and anxiety!
It depends on how much you ate. If you only ate a little and didn't dump, it doesn't mean you won't have a reaction to a larger amount. If you ate 1/2 a tube's worth and didn't dump...eh you might not.
Just assume you DO dump. That's the easiest way to avoid sugary foods from here on out.
Edited for clarity...( left out a word )

Thanks for the info. I generally follow my plan. I hate that I ate cookie dough and need to work on developing new habits. I can't have that stuff (junk food) in my house or I will eat it. It was cookie dough my son bought from a fundraiser. Like the suggestion to assume I am a dumper ... It sounds like a horrible experience. Thanks!

Everybody is different.. what may or may not bother you will chance.
I never experienced much "dumping" at almost 9 years out if I eat too much sugar I will get the fast heartbeat... sometimes sweaty and then get tired. If I eat too much fat I definitely can tell.. stomach cramps and you can imagine the rest. I don't experience it often and sometimes it may happen with something I ate before and was fine... other things I just know how much I can eat and be ok.
If you are "relying" on being a dumper to deter you, then don't even test it... better to just think it will happen.

Sometimes cookie dough isn't enough of a trigger. Try three Twinkies, or four Little Debbie Swiss Rolls, and see if that will do it.
