NSV - 1 year journey
Today's my birthday. One year ago today (my 60th birthday) I was wondering if I would make it to 61. Taking out the garbage or pulling weeds would leave me gasping for air. I had been recently diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes and had been using a cpap for sleep apnea for years.
Today I turn 61!
140 lbs gone!
No diabetes medications! (A1C = 5.3)
No blood pressure medication! (new normal 90/60)
No more cpap machine!
Five hours of heavy yard work on Saturday in the sun! (no gasping for air)
Bought jeans at WalMart for $16. (Always had to order online for more $$)
I'm a new man! What a difference a year can make!
