Why do you have so many problems with taking your vitamins? I have an alarm set on my phone 4x a day to remind me to take mine. They are also the first thing I pack when leaving on vacation or even going out on my every other day fishing trip. I'm not trying to talk about your "shortcomings" (LOL) just get worried about other people when I see this. Good luck and keep trying !!

I am currently trying the multivitamin patch, but have not had any lab work done yet. Just a warning that you might notice any change in lab results so quickly after switching to the patch.

I have had multiple problems with kidney stones since my RNY 8 years ago, and had even been taking an expensive chewable multi that had NO calcium carbonate in order to avoid having stones form, so I am a little nervous about the calcium in the patches.  I asked both my PCO and my urologist about the transdermal absorption of the calcium vs intestinal absorption and -- not surprisingly -- neither of them knew.

I am getting ready to try them myself.  I am currently taking the ompurity muliti plus magnesium, copper, A, E, B12, D3 and extra calcium.

It appears I can do just the this patch since it absorbs over the course of the day. Then just add my tender iron 3 nights a week before bed. Does that sound right?  I just had my blood draw for my 2 year last week.  I am going to see my doctor on Monday and ask them to let me do another one in 3 months vice 6 cause I am changing my vitamins. They are usually really good about that!

I do a lot of backpacking and not having to pack all my vitamins in baggies will same me time, space, and weight in my pack!

If you type in "vitamin patch" on this site, you'll find more replies and opinions to read, digest, and decide.  I consider chewable supplements my candy treat for the day making interest in the patch nil unless I was having poor lab readings.
