I am having numbness in both hands and feet due to b12 deficiency. I had open RNY Nov. 1996. Is this reversible ? I am very anemic I found out also. My surgeon retired years ago and I hate going to the doc anyways so I haven't been in about 10 yrs. to see a baraitric doc.

Some of it may be permanant, some reversible. Depends if it was nerve damage or not.

Start supplementation and hope it would go away.

Numbness can also be doe to other factors. Get detailed lab work.

Btw. In my book any B12 below  550 is too low. For me personally, under 800 is feels low.
