Can't help with the adrenalin junkie explanation - I would NEVER jump out of a perfectly good plane!  I am up for a good hike and wish I could do more, but it will come.  I also mentioned to my hubby a few weeks ago that I really want to go back to Universal Studios to ride all of the rides that I couldn't ride before.  Question - anyone else get scanned every time they go through security???  I'm guessing that it's the staples.

I am happy with the heat for now too.  I was always the one with the a/c on arctic and now I am cold all of the time.  I have to defend the a/c setting at home on a daily basis and I run around with a jacket all day.  Sometimes even jump in a hot bathtub to warm up.

On our honeymoon in Mexico we went 4-wheeling, jet skiing and deep sea fishing in crazy rough seas.  I cried during every single one of those activities.  LOL  My husband knew better than to even ask me if I wanted to go parasailing.  He went by himself and I sat on the beach.

While white water rafting, they would stop and have "activities" in the water.  One was a "slide" made of rock.  I did that one.  Then they had a 12' cliff you could jump off of.  I DID IT!!!  I never in my wildest dreams thought I would do that, its NOT my thing!  I dont know what came over me!?  I went first and everything.

Then they had like this 20' cliff, NOPE NOPE NOPE, I am ALL SET Mr. White water instructor guy

I used to want to skydive... not anymore, I cherish my bones in one piece. :) We even have a skydiving place about 30 minutes from me... ack! In my early 20's I did parasailing in Acapulco... I was in a panic and did exactly what they told me not to do... somewhere there is a pic of me being dragged down the beach with these Mexican men chasing me and trying to catch me with a giant parachute attached to me... LOL... my sister took the pic :)

B: Fit Frappe

L: avocado, tomato, fresh mozzarella stack

S: Peanut butter and celery

D: salad, grilled lamb chop

S: Premier protein

Good morning!

I love(d) downhill skiing and white water rafting in my early 20's.  My original knee injuries were due to those activities - and my extreme weight certainly finished the job of ruining those joints.  When I am light enough to fit and strong enough to get in and out, I am going to kayak - on quiet lakes and streams.  (That's a goal for this summer actually!)  And though my knees may or may not be able to handle downhill skiing next winter, I will get out there and do something on the slopes! Even if it's tubing, I will get out there! Its been 15 years since I last could do anything winter-sports related, and I can't wait.  Also, I am lead singer in a classic rock band - and performing is another major adrenaline rush! we are all my age and older, and we perform about once a month in pubs and events near our homes.

I never thought of myself as an adrenaline junkie but... I guess I am to a certain extent!

Time since surgery - 7 weeks

L - 1/4 c refried beans, 2T shredded 2% cheese rolled in lettuce

Totals - 75 g protein, 18 g fat 28 g carb, 588 calories

E - 30 min stationary bike

W/V - underway

Hazy, hot and humid here in southern NY.  It's like August weather here, as well.  Still working from home, so I am going to try to make the best of it. I hope none of you, nor your families, are affected by the terrible flooding in Texas.

I have another big donation batch for Salvation Army.  They know me now!!!  And then I plan to put some stuff up on eBay, a suit and a few really nice ****tail dresses.  Hopefully this will help me raise some money for some new clothes when I need them next!

Have a great day.
