Goal Reached!!
Today I weighed in below my goal (even if only by 1/2 lb). I know I've not been online much since my weight loss surgery - I've found a new energy for life - even my kids wonder where I've found it, I walk over 10 miles per week at nite, love to be active. I'm no longer the couch potatoe I once was.
I have gone from a size 26 to a size 10. I NEVER in my wildest dreams thought I'd be where I am today. I won't ever be a bikini model, nor do I want to be, but I can go on that roller coaster with my kids, go swimming at the beach, go run after what ever it is I want. I don't get out of breath after a flight of stairs. My knees don't hurt after a day at work - I'm on my feet all day!
Thank you again ladies & gents to everyone who has been there for me along my journey; although the journey is not over, the main weight loss has been dropped, now just the maintenance phase!!
Everyone has a wonderful & blessed day - I know I will!! :)
Congratulations!!! You're doing great. xoxo

137 pounds lost - from a 24/26W to a size 8/10!
That is awesome! I feel just like you, I am not on the computer as much. I am so busy living life!!!!! I have a newfound love of the the beach and pools, I strap on my one piece with pride and enjoy! I love amusement parks but have given up, my husband said the last time we went before surgery I was in a panic getting on every ride, saying this strap won't fit, help me buckle, what if the bar won't come down, he is right, it was a horrible feeling. No I jump on with no worries! I have starting going golfing with him and trying to learn the game. I walk, jog and do yardwork and actually love it. I had a very high goal weight of 165 which I hit and then I revisited and decided to try for a goal which would put me it the healthy range. I never thought it would be possible either. CONGRATS to you and thanks for sharing!
