I went to Goodwill to try and find some Summer stuff that would work.  I don't know why I even try Goodwill, they always have such a ****ty selection in Plus sizes!  I found ONE pair of shorts that fit, but they were super short...ummm no thank you!

Yes! What a great feeling! I just went through my summer clothes and found a pair of capris that I bought two summers ago as "incentive."  Brand new, with tags, size 16w. They fit now! My only pair of capris at this point but you know, that's ok. I found a few other things I can get away with at home, but that's it.

Feels great... Weird, but great, right???

Yes, it was nice to get rid of stuff....but also like...I am WAY to poor to buy so many new clothes, so now I have just enough to get me by for a little bit! lol

I am going to try to sell some of my better stuff on eBay, to raise money for the next round of clothes.  My local Salvation Army has crap selection in plus sizes.  Last time I was there I saw some of my old clothes out for resale and was freaked out!  But I hope that the karma of donation will boomerang back for you, and for me... Resulting in some plus size selections at our local thrift stores this summer.  :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AV!!!! Hope your day is great.

I had a nice weekend and even have it extended through today as I took a vacation day today. Yesterday we went to a local orchard and picked peaches, they were just perfect. I made a cobbler for my hubby (which he said was great) and peeled and froze most of the rest. I may mess with a few today that I did not freeze and attempt to make a "crisp" that I can enjoy a few bites of.

Here is what my day look's like so far-lunch is a guess as I am supposed to meet up with a friend and I am going to suggest Chiptole.

Time since surgery:9+ months

B: SF Cinnamon dolce latte, Egg beaters with spinach, cheese and broccoli and a peach

S: Pistachio Thin Addictives with a wedge of laughing cow cheese

D: Grilled chicken salad and maybe a 2nd coffee if I meet up with a friend before support group

Happy birthday AV and wear those short sleeves proudly. My first summer I kept my arms covered up but last summer I decided that my arms didn't look any worse than most 56 year olds so I just wore what I liked. Besides they are a reminder to me of where I came from and all the hard work I have done. Anny,I would check with your surgeons office for suggestions for a therapist. They should have some suggestions. And get on it girl as you deserve to feel in control and at peace. You have worked so hard! Had a non eventful weekend with family and enjoyed our time together. I ate pretty healthy and did some exercise everyday so was pretty proud of myself. Lily and I are heading to the park in a minute as the rain has stopped. We will do 3 miles and I will do another 2.5 on the treadmill and 25 minutes on the bike at some point. Over the weekend I skipped some exercise because my weight was down. Weight today 118. Here's the food: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz chicken and cheese with 1/2 c Brussels sprouts D 31/2 is chicken sausage 1/2 c sweet potatoes S Greek yogurt with nuts. On track with fluids and vitamins too! Have a great day of good choices everyone!

I love pickles so much.  It's nice to see I'm not the only one!

I found sugar-free ones that are really good with turkey and cheese roll ups.

I love pickles, too.  For bread and butter, I use Mount Olive no sugar added... they are good!  And, nothing beats a dill pickle... I know the sodium is high but hey, it is a dill pickle!
