What bariatric vitamin are you comparing it to?  Two Centrum covers what the ASMBS says we need.

Keep in mind that some bariatric vitamins have -- for some reason that escapes understanding -- high levels of B12 (which we cannot absorb via our intestines) and calcium carbonate (which can cause kidney stones).

For lack of understanding what, when and how to take these vitamins I erred on the side of caution and just went with the bariatric advantage.  3 month supply wasnt to bad a price.  When I know what the heck im doing in the future I will feel a little better.  Thanks for your help!

And be careful of the serving size. The percentages look great, but to get those percentages for one brand of bariatric vitamin, you would need EIGHT in a day. Others are 4 per day. With the centrum and generics, you only need 2.

What I read on the Bariatric Advantage site, two a day are required.

Your words "crunchy chewable vitamin" made me laugh.  You sound like someone seriously crunch-deprived. ha. If you are on a budget, I'd recommend the Centrum Silver chewables over the bariatric-specific vitamins.  However, Bariatric Advantage caramel-flavor calcium chews are so wonderful, they are worth it.  To make the bag of chews last longer, I rotate them with calcium citrate pills.

i know!  Im on my pre op but doctor said "crunch" vs. chewy.  When i asked why they said chewy doesent go down as well and they want to lessen the chance of it getting stuck. Im guessing they mean something more inline with baby aspirin consistency.  I did buy centrum adult but after the initial crunch they are soft and chewy inside.
