That's why I disagree with my NUT. I think I need the Protein, because I am not confident that I am getting all the protein I need. Some days I feel nausea, and it's hard to eat.

Post-op instructions said to use 100% whey protein isolate.  A protein powder that fits that standard is made by Unjury.com.  It is a high quality, medical protein powder that gets high marks in taste, mixability, and tolerance.  Highly recommend it.

Thank you, at this point I definitely need something tolerable.

Unjury is my fave too when it comes to protein powders.  I have some at home and I also keep some in my office -- right now I have chicken soup, chocolate and vanilla.  (I do think the strawberry shebert is hideous though).

For my morning snack I drank the classic chocolate (Delish, 100 cals and 21 grams of protein).

For afternoon snack, I mixed a scoop of the vanilla with nonfat greek yogurt I make at home, with fresh blueberries, raspberries and strawberries.  (Delish, about 200 cals, 35 grams of protein.)

My fave protein bars are Powercrunch and I've recently started investigating the Quest bars.  Yum!  But I do have to be careful as they can trigger me,  compulsive overeater that I am.
