update:rny 1 week ago @after 2 failed lapbands! yahoo!
Yahoo!I'm on the other side!
After having 2 failed lapbands and emergency removal 2 years ago; in was finally ably to get gastric bypass last week!
I was high risk as they didn't know what my insides looked like; they did find that my stomach was completely attached to my liver :(. Thankfully I followed the 2 week liquid diet and when they got inside laproscopically they had room to remove all of the scar tissue build up from previous surgeries.
They then completed my gastric bypass/rny.
Today I am one week out and doing great.
I thank the Lord for the skill of my surgons and am so haooy to move forward day by day in this new body.
I'm now waiting for the anesthesia /surgery weight to drop off..as I haven't had much loss at all since my surgery date.
Any ideas how long that will take?
Try not to worry and just follow your plan. The weight will come off.

Congratulations...just do what you are supposed to do and it will happen. It is very hard the first month all around. Everyone is different, but it will happen.
