I am still in Illinois with my son and family. It is a brisk day. NSV shopping here, I bought my first size 14s this week. That pair of Linen pants that are slightly tight(no stretch) ... and yesterday 2 pairs of awesome capris at Marshalls that are ready for wearing. Woop! Woop!

We are going to the YMCA...this morning and going to try and see if my grandson will go in the pool for the first time.

Hey all,

warm and humid and blazing hot here in southern NY.  It's supposed to go back to normal the rest of the week but I am struggling to find something to wear in the heat.  My summer stuff is all falling off me.  A good problem to have!  Time to make another donation run.  Hopefully I can find a pair off capris at the same thrift store I donate to!

no thin Addictives for me, at least not yet and not for awhile. Any cracker is addictive to me, so I need to be ready to introduce those!

And YES we live next to a small bird sanctuary. It sounds like a rain forest, especially at sunset and sunrise!

Time since surgery: 5 weeks

B - premier chocolate shake

S - 1/4 c part skim ricotta

L - 3 roasted garlic chicken and cheese meatballs (from Costco) - not sure I can eat all 3 (I haven't had them post surgery)

S - reduced fat cheddar stick (3/4 oz)

D - 2 oz crock pot chicken thighs, diced tomatoes, onions

E - 30 mins stationary bike

w/V - underway

totals:  72 protein, 13 carb, 27 fat, 588 calories

could be a bit less as I will probably only be able to eat 2 meatballs at lunch. Even if I do, I will be ok for my protein.

have  great day everyone.  Let's rock this!

What are these meatballs you speak of? They sound delicious!

I found them at Costco!  Sabatino's Roasted Garlic and Basil Chicken Meatballs with Mozzarella Cheese.

They looked tasty and the stats also look OK to me.  For 3 meatballs, 140 cals, 8g fat, 2g carbs (1 Fiber, 1 sugar), 16g protein.  They were indeed pretty tasty, but need something to dip them in.  Tomato sauce?  Mustard sauce?  Not sure.  But I liked them just as-is as well!

I learned that exercise hoops are way different than the ones we played with as kids. It was really fun and the teacher said once you get moving and grooving it can burn up to 600 cals an hour :)
