Look back: 5 months post op to 17 months post op
I think the reason people suggesting using the blog site is the volumes of such similar posts from you on the forum the past week or so...
After the first couple, many people start to ignore them and for those who continue to read them, they often lose their impact...

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
This is such a wonderful post and one I take to heart. I am just now starting to get the comments to stop losing weight. For us self sabatogers, it can be a dangerous thing to hear. It is great advice to take this as far as you can go :)
In light of this, I've asked me trainer to take me from 3x a week to 4x!! :) :)
I enjoyed reading your post. It is so true that many surgeon's who set goals do so with the success stats in mind. Mine set it at 160 which was not even close to where I thought I should be at 5 2. I kept going and now fluctuate between 131 133 which is where my body seems to be happy. At goal for only 8 months I am far from being a vet but hope I will be one some day. For now I am very careful and weigh each morning. If the scale is up a bit I am especially careful. Not that I am not anyway but really more diligent abou****er and food choices. Maintenance is hard and I appreciate all the vets who are still here and giving us all advice. So I guess this is my ramble for the day!
I, too... LOVE this post. Very inspiring. I've been wondering if when the scale stalls for days at a time if my body is still losing inches. Most of my clothes are stretchy or still baggy, so it's kinda hard to tell by my clothing size, but I'm hoping it's just like you said.
You have done soooo great! And your happiness and enthusiasm is positively contagious!
