Has Anyone Tried the Quest Protein Chips?

They look so good, and only 120 calories.  I've seen yummy flavors like Salt & Vinegar, and Sour Cream & Onion.  I'm going to look for them at Sprouts today - any feedback?  Are they good, or are they cardboard?

So I was excited when these first came out as I think Quest bars are one of the best tasting protein bars, but I was disappointed. They're a decent crispy vehicle to get other things into your mouth (think chicken salad), but on their own I found them to be cardboard with a yucky "protein" after taste.

Thanks, Anny - that's kinda what I expected.  They just sound too good to be true, which usually means they are.

Anyone else?

Yuck. I don't like them. I have a couple of bags in my pantry that I bought awhile ago. The've been aging in there since I tasted them. Just haven't gotten around to tossing them out.

Ok I'm going to paint a picture for you. Imagine if a piece of styrofoam and a communion wafer had a baby. That is the texture.

And this is coming from a DIE hard "I will cut you over my last Quest bar" kind of girl. I do love most of their other products (except the peanut butter cups). Their bars are divine (nuke them 15 seconds in the microwave though), their protein powders are yummy. I haven't tried the noodles but I have heard good things.

I pass on the chips.

OMG YES!! You took the words right out my mouth I love Quest bars and think the peanut butter cups are okay.  However those chips taste like cardboard and styrofoam mixed with chalk. They are nasty with a capital N.

I think those Peanut Butter Cups are nasty, too.  I ate 1/2 of one and pitched the package.  Now, the s'more bar???   Heaven!  In fact, I may need to make a Complete Nutrition stop to get some of those tasty items!

Pretty much what the others said....LOVE Quest bars, very disappointed in those chips. In a word, "Yuk!"

I've found them WAY too dry to have them on their own.  But I use them with my tuna at lunch.  I add a little extra mayo to the tuna, and use the chips as a cracker.
