What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
There's something about seeing those calories in black and white on MFP, isn't there?

Good Morning! Well today is a day for meetings..I have one as well and before that have to meet some people that are here to do our annual wellness screenings (blood work-it will be nice to see what all my numbers are!). I hope it is appropriate to share an article that my husband shared with me, parts of it really resonated with me and thought it might be a good read for others- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lisa-durant2/the-after-myth_b_7115854.html

Wow, that was a really great read. When people look at old pictures of me, or talk about me "before" I lost the weight and feel like they can say super mean things about how I looked, it guts me. It's like, i'm still that same exact girl, there's just less of me now! Also, the "after" part of it really resonates. It's an on going journey/struggle......Thanks for sharing!
I have GOT to stay away from crappy carbs!! The past few days pancakes and crescent rolls were calling my name. I need to lose 3 pounds quickly or it will drive me nuts.
Goal for the day: 1500 calories, no crappy carbs. I can do this!!
