A friend brought me a few  Power Crunch Salted Caramel Energy Bars the other day, she did not care for the flavor.    I found them to be  Delicious!!

Now I am wondering about the other flavors?  Has anyone tried this brand ?

Thanks

I tried the chocolate mint and it's ok. I occasionally eat 1/3 to 1/2 a bar but aren't convinced they're very good for us.

I like them... I always have some bar on hand when I want a little something sweet. I make 1 last about 4 times though. They remind me of those little debbie nutty bars, wafers. Great frozen too... cut them up into little pieces and toss them in ziplocs in the freezer.

If you are sensitive to sugar alcohols they are probably not for you... or you know if cookies, candy bar-ish things were your pre-op trigger foods they could be a slippery slope for some... so watch that.

P.S. Yes the Salted Caramel ones were yummy... my Mom said they were too sweet and said "not for me"... I think that one is a love it or hate it flavor. They smell really great, I had one in a ziploc (my leftover pieces) and I noticed the smell.

I once gave serious thought to proposing to Little Debbie. God, I loved her. Turns out she was only after my money.

I like Power Crunch bars have 14 grams of protein but not crazy for the 200 calories per bar. They reminded me more of sugar wafer cookies than nutty bars.  Either way, freezing is a good tip.

Walmart had two flavors, vanilla creme and cookies-n-creme so I bought one of each suckering-in for the words "creme" and "crunch."  They were a good-tasting, fun treat but borderline at meeting my post-WLS protein bar dietary guidelines (under 200 calories and at least 15 grams of protein).  I am more a "tryer" than a "buyer" of things like pre-made protein bars and shakes.  Very regular buys are Greek yogurt, whey protein isolate protein powder, Fairlife milk, cheese, eggs, frozen berries, Keifer, nuts and nut butters, lean meats, spinach leaves, and some fruit. Buying more vegetables falls under "needs improvement" .

Ate half of one on Friday evening when I saw my protein level and calories were too low for the day and I wanted something sweet.  I ended up dumping BIG time.  Never ever again.  Ruined a Friday evening out and ended up in the bathroom and then early to bed by 9:00.  Bummer.
