Sleeve to RNY
Shouldn't be too much different because you already follow a plan that doesn't have much sugar, but with RNY you should be vigilant about sugar and carbs because of the possibility of dumping. Only 30% of us dump, but it's unpleasant enough that it's best to avoid it. Also, with RNY you won't have a pyloric valve so it's super important to not drink with meals or you will wash the food right out and be hungry again. But if you don't drink, you get full easily and it's wonderful. And no NSAIDS ever again. Good luck!
I had my RNY the day after my sleeve surgery, due to an obstruction. The gas was rough, the recovery was a little longer, but I'd still do it again in a heartbeat. Good luck! xoxo
