What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
OMG...god bless small children :) I would have died laughing too...freaking bat wings!
Love the outfit. I can't wait until I can buy clothes I like instead of clothes that fit.
I'm kind of bummed out, I was taken off my diabetes meds after surgery, sugars have been fine until today when they were 246 this morning. Surgeon on call told me to take half of a metformin but that didn't help at least not yet. Hoping this is a one-time thing. Will take meds through the weekend and have labs done on Monday a.m.
B: Premier Protein Shake
L: L&F Banana Cream Yogurt
S: SF pudding
D: 2 slices deli ham, 1 Laughing Cow light wedge
I really need to go grocery shopping so I can try a few new things on stage 4 plan.
Ok, so it's hard to justify TOO MUCH shopping along the way, but I totally suggest buying yourself a few new items every now and then, even if you know you'll be too small for them in a month - it helps SO MUCH with staying motivated and feeling good about yourself! Try places like Ross or Kohl's or Good Will for cheap stuff that you won't feel guilty about donating in 6 weeks!

I'm excited about a trip I made to Sprouts yesterday to get some of the fun things I've been reading about here. I got two boxes of the ThinAddictives (1 cranberry, and 1 pistachio), I found the Quest Protein bars there, too... I've seen a lot of those in the menu forums, so I got 2 of each kind except the PB&J ones (they were out of those). I got Walden Farms calorie free chocolate and caramel dips since I love their syrups so much. Earlier this week I got the Babybel Mini-cheeses, but haven't found the Laughing Cow spreads yet (will wait to try the Addictives until I can find the LC cheese to spread on them). I also ordered the Butterball Turkey Strips online that some of you have mentioned. And I'm experimenting with the liquid Isopure drinks. I still prefer the Premier ones, but I can easily add a 10-20 grams of protein with the Isopure at the end of the day if I'm running short. So, yeah! I have lots of fun new foods to try - all of them high protein and low-cal - whooop!
