Annoying NSV
Try a ring noodle (they are about 5 bucks on amazon)
Also, at the jewelry store, they have METAL temporary sizers. They run about 2 bucks. I use about 2 of them a year as I often break them from doing pushups/barbells. But at 2 bucks..who cares!?!??

My ring size went from a 9.5 to a 5.0. I feel your pain. I actually bought fake sets to wear until I got to where I thought I'd end up. I hated the zoodle and the metal sizers. Now I wish I'd sized a bit smaller, to a 4.5 --but I was afraid of swelling in the summer ... but that's another gripe for another day...

Bonus: extra jewelry! Woohoo!! Buy yourself a "stop ring" if they still feel loose maybe?
I had an episode of swelling this past summer. I was glad I stayed a half size up.

A few months after my surgery, I found myself in the same boat. I really did not want to go without my rings, nor did I want to get them resized so early on in my weight loss. I bought plastic ring guards, but they were really uncomfy. I ended up buying a very thin band in a smaller ring size and used it as a "stopper" of sorts. It worked like a charm-my rings never flew off my fingers-and it gave my rings a little bit of a different look. Eventually, the "stopper" also got too big, but by that time I was ready to get everything resized, and did so. I even got my "stop ring" resized and I still wear it. I spent $15 on the band itself since it is silver. It's held up well...and my hands are somewhat abused by evil house cleaning on a semi-monthly ( I kid...I kid I clean a little more often...hah! ) basis. ( Apologies for the jacked up mani. )
Here's what it looks like:
Hope this helps!
